Installation Instructions

1.       Unpack the unit from its shipping carton and remove protective material from around the unit. Inspect the unit for any visible signs of physical damage. If damage is evident repack and contact the seller.

2.       The unit can be placed anywhere in a room but is not recommended for use within 2 meters of beds or cots of in unventilated rooms.

WARNNG: Do not use in bathroom or outdoor and keep well away from damp or wet surfaces (kitchen worktops etc).

3.       Plug the unit into a power socket; please note there is no power switch. The unit will function whenever power is applied to it. The blue trim will illuminate to show power has been applied. Rotate the dial to maximum and the fan will turn on and the ionizer will run at maximum level. A small amount of blue light, known as a corona, should be visible within cause ions are enviable helps indicate the ion generator is working.

4.       An ionization odor will be present at the opening of the unit. The presence of the unit run for an ionization is normal and indicates the unit is operation properly. Let the unit run for at last 2 to 3 hours and the ionization smell will gradually move through the room.

5.       Should the ionization odor ever become too strong turn the side knob towards the minimum setting? The unit can also be set to extra quiet "night mode" by turning the knob unit clicks. This turns the fan off and sets the ionizer to minimum.

6.       The unit is effective against most odors and airborne particles if operated for approximately 12 hours per day. The use of this product does not substitute for proper cleaning, health and hygiene practice. Air lionizers will cause dust and other particles to settle out of the air and onto the surface where they can be taken away during normal cleaning.

  Maintenance

The Life-Pet air purifier is almost maintenance free, once every month the air inlet and outlet should be vacuum cleaner. Disconnect the unit and using a necessary brush attached to a vacuum cleaner running on its lowest power setting, gently brush back and forth over the openings to help remove internal and external contamination. Do not apply the vacuum cleaner for more than 10 seconds at a time or blow air into the unit.

Periodically wipe the unit over with a damp cloth. Do not spray with cleaning products or allow moisture will damage the unit and this is not covered by the produce warranty.

  Disposal

This product must not be thrown into the normal household rubbish. Please dispose of it separately at a location designated for this purpose.

The Life-Pet air purifier is warranted to perform as specified purifier for home appliance. Due to manufacturer having no control over the environment or locations of use this warranty excludes misuse, accidental damage, physical abuse and water damage, damage from lightning or power surges and/or the use of the product on power use of the produce on power system (such as solar/wind/battery inverters) that are used as alternatives to conventional mains-grid electricity.
